Buckle up basketball fans. Season 85’s UAAP basketball schedule just dropped and we’re in for a nearly three months of games.
Both men’s and women’s basketball tournaments opens on October 1, Sunday. The very first games will be between Adamson and UST, followed by the UP Fighting Maroons against DLSU.
Back to regularly scheduled programming
The last UAAP season saw a more compressed schedule, with games played every other day.
But now, the UAAP basketball schedule is back to the format we’ve long known. Games are to be played every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday.
This UAAP Season 85 will have two games every Saturday and Sunday, and four games every Wednesday.
The first round of elimination will end on October 23. The second round will last from October 26 to November 26. After this, the top four teams will compete in the final four round—the semifinals and the finals.
The winner-takes-all semifinals start on November 30, and the best-of-three finals begin on December 7.
The entire season is set to wrap up by December 14.
