As much as we all love seeing our favorite athletes busting their moves and showing off their skills on the court or on the field, we also equally love seeing what they’re up to off of it.
The ESPYS is definitely the event of the year where we get just that. The ESPYS is an award ceremony to celebrate athletes and their performances, wins, and recognizable moments. It’s basically the Oscars for sports.
And just like the Oscars, we love seeing how the athletes dress up for the ESPYS red carpet. Here are five of our favorite outfits from this year’s awards ceremony.

Steph Curry might have been the star of the show as the host of the ESPYS, but sorry Steph. Riley outshined you in our eyes. We absolutely love the little details of Riley’s look—the space buns, the gloves, and the purse.
Plus, the way she swipes off her shades at the end? Star power right there.

The athlete who won the best play at the ESPYS was also one of the best dressed: US Women’s Soccer player Megan Rapinoe. We love the way she pulls off this glamorous tux like it’s nothing.
And in the spirit of athletes being more than just athletes, we also admire the cause she used her acceptance speech for.
Mookie Betts
If you aren’t into baseball, we still think you should be into Mookie Betts. An all-star player and an outfielder for the LA Dodgers, he’s also a style icon. We loved seeing him dazzle everyone with the flashy (literally) element of his suit.
Did you see the back? And the hat just brings it all together in a perfect ensemble.
Sunisa Lee
Sunisa Lee fits right on the red carpet looking just like a Hollywood celebrity. But her Olympic ring tattoo tells a different story. A three-time Olympic medalist in gymnastics, she’s used to flashy outfits and taking center stage.

Evander Kane killed it at the ESPYS with this outfit.
For those of you who don’t know, Evander Kane is an ice hockey player for the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League. And this flashy suit was as ice cold as gets. If we didn’t know better, we’d easily mistake him for an actor who plays a superhero.
